Seasoned chef brings fresh talent and 15 years of experience to the culinary program at Green Bay’s first luxury hotel
KOHLER, Wis. — September 7, 2017 – Kohler Co. is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Joey Kolenc as head chef of the recently opened AAA Four-Diamond LODGE KOHLER, the prime hotel of Green Bay Packer’s Titletown. Kolenc boasts more than 15 years of culinary experience across a wide range of dining establishments, and will lead the property’s featured restaurant, Taverne in the Sky, which promises the finest in modern rotisserie cuisine.

Prior to his appointment, Kolenc most recently served as executive sous’ chef at El Chorro in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Over the course of his three-year term, he managed and motivated a highly talented culinary team and held the responsibilities of budgeting, purchasing, reducing waste and effectively adapting menus based on guest preferences and satisfaction. Before his time at El Chorro, Kolenc also served as a sous chef at The Greenhouse (Fox Restaurant Concepts) in Phoenix, AZ and Marcella’s (Cameron Mitchell Restaurants) in Scottsdale, AZ. His first foray into the KOHLER brand began in 2007, when he worked as a cook at the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond, The American Club.
Featuring breathtaking views of the iconic Lambeau Field, Taverne in the Sky, LODGE KOHLER’s fifth-floor restaurant and panoramic bar, offers guests and diners alike an elevated experience and menu featuring the best in modern rotisserie cuisine. House specialties include mouthwatering Rotisserie Chicken, BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Poached Sturgeon, all of which can be appropriately paired with the restaurant’s carefully curated collection of wines available from around the globe.

The café serves 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. In addition to seating indoors, there is an outdoor terrace that opens up onto the Titletown plaza.
KOHLER Waters SPA at LODGE KOHLER, a classically designed and elegant space, features a variety of innovative spa services, including a state-of-the-art Hydromassage Experience Pool, KOHLER Custom Vichy shower, as well as a co-ed sauna, steam room and cool plunge pool. There are six treatment rooms, three finishing stations, a hair salon and boutique. KOHLER Waters SPA offers a full menu of massage, hydrotherapy and body treatments as well as facials, manicures and pedicures, and waxing services.
