Originally built as a recreation hall for residents of the Village of Kohler, the Kohler Design Center, 65 miles away, now serves as the company’s historical museum and showroom. Take a guided tour where you can see some of the company’s original products from the 1800s, learn the history of the Kohler family and even experience some of the latest kitchen, bath and power product innovations from Kohler Co.

THE kohler factory tour

Kohler’s "Industry in Action" factory tour is for anyone who’s ever wondered how a KOHLER® bath or faucet was made. Located just 65 miles away and guided by former Kohler factory employees themselves, these tours are packed with information and heartfelt insights. Visitors will learn the history behind the nation’s largest plumbingware manufacturer while walking through numerous buildings—pottery, brass and foundry—watching as everything from vitreous china bathroom sinks to KOHLER enameled cast-iron baths are created on-site.
