Chequamegon-Nicolet national Forest

Located in Park Falls, Wisconsin, and covering more than 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest offers outdoor lovers a host of activities. In addition to fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing, enthusiasts can enjoy the beaches, boat launches, picnicking and hiking trails during warmer seasons, while snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are especially picturesque during the winter.

 

Escanaba River State Forest
